CUSTOM LASER CUT SCULPTURES
This project began as a personal exploration in public art, evolving into a series of sculptural installations designed for the exterior of businesses. The initial concept featured large-scale steel flowers, each one hand-drawn and digitally refined into CNC-compatible cutting files. Fabrication involved laser-cutting 1/8" thick steel, welding the pieces into dimensional forms, and finishing them with a sleek, durable black powder coat. The work combines artistic vision with industrial processes, resulting in striking, weather-resistant artworks.
Over time, the scope expanded to include wildlife, pets, and ornamental designs. These sculptures demonstrate my ability to create outside traditional print or digital media, requiring considerations such as material, weight distribution, structural integrity, and manufacturing processes. This project highlights my strength in translating conceptual illustrations into physical works that balance creativity with functional craftsmanship.
